Body Trance Yoga

Body Trance Movement is a blissfully rhythmic state that has been used in nearly all ancient rituals. In the past it was used to motivate the participant into a spiritual connection and helped them to bring their visions to consciousness and to heal through an internal spiritual connection. 

Anyone can participate in Body Trance Yoga because it is an individual experience with very little outside directions or internal expectations. The rhythm of the movement stimulates the body and once the body is given permission to experience the boldness of the inner healer/teacher takes over. Utilizing specific breath patterns, movement, and rhythms the participant begins to perceive with their internal senses which opens a new landscape of consciousness. They may experience the time/space continuum and feel as though they have been transported into other life experiences. Sometimes it is a transpersonal state that allows the participant to experience the consciousness of nature with visitation from animal guides or the plant kingdom. Many have experienced personal empowerment of attributes such as compassion for another's experience, courage to face life's tribulations, as well as insights into future paths heretofore unrevealed. Body Trance Yoga offers a method for emotional, spiritual and physical healing. Movement is a gateway to the inner healer/teacher that accesses altered states of consciousness allowing the participant to connect with their Source. This is a vehicle through which the participant may become that primal energy.

Trance is another way of describing meditation. Body Trance Yoga is a moving meditation.  So this experience becomes a way to use a physical activity to move into the tranquil state of the mind where the internal dialogue temporarily is stopped and there is freedom to listen to the internal healer/teacher. 

 

Some types of meditation require sitting in silence until the internal dialogue stops and then the participant begins to feel refreshed and relaxed. When you utilize Body Trance Yoga you access that same state using movement, music and breathing techniques to launch into the upper realms of your inner resource.

The immediate benefits of Body Trance Yoga are the creation of flexibility of body and mind, Physical strengthening, Stress reduction just to name a few

 

Doris is a Yoga Instructor trained and certified by the YogaFit® Training Systems, Los Angeles California, she has over 20 years experience in the practice of Yoga and Tensegrity™ (movements as taught by Carlos Castaneda's Magical Passes).

Doris has studied in Europe and in the United States with international renowned teachers such as Michael Stillwater & contemplative psychotherapist Doris Lesser, Ralph Metzner, Ph.D. and Byron Metcalf, Ph.D. in the areas of Holoshamanic and Holotropic Breathwork and Guided Divination. She has comprehensive understanding and practical application of breathwork based on Quantum Light Breath Clarity Process™, by Jeru Kabbal.
